Dr. Popowych has been providing services at North Side Audiology Group since 1986. Her professional mission is to provide supportive patient centered care during the initial diagnosis of hearing loss and throughout the rehabilitative process.
Areas of interest include the evaluation and management of longstanding hearing loss, tinnitus, and evaluation/programming of hearing aids. She believes that the guidance of an audiologist can help to empower patients to make decisions regarding their hearing health that will improve their overall well- being.
“Ultimately, I want to provide our patients with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that I care about their hearing health, that I utilize state of the art technologies and that I am their partner in hearing care until the communication challenges that are so often associated with hearing loss have been overcome.”

Karen joined the staff at North Side Audiology Group in 2021. She believes her key responsibility is to have good communication with both the patients and the staff to make sure things run smoothly. She wants to make sure patients have a great experience when they come into our office, from when they first walk through the door until the time they leave. “Each and every day is different, and I enjoy getting to know people.” Outside of the office, she enjoys travelling, exploring, and discovering quaint and unique places.
